About the Author
Jordan Cary, often known online as Virginia Jay, is a born-and-raised Virginian whose creative work stretches across poetry, music, and cultural reflection. When writing, recording, and releasing music, he goes by Wisemoney and is one-half of the group NamePending!?
His interests include history, science fiction, fragrances, baseball, music, and the ways culture shapes how people understand themselves and one another. Across his writing, Cary often returns to themes of youth, memory, maturation, introspection, longing, and the complicated experience of growing older while still learning who you are.
Whether through poetry or music, his work is rooted in observation, reflection, and an interest in capturing the emotional details of everyday life.
